Three manufacturers, not one
A hearing aid is not a single product with a single right answer. Different manufacturers handle background noise, streaming and speech processing in genuinely different ways, and the one that suits a quiet household is rarely the one that suits someone still working on a factory floor.
A practice tied to one brand can only ever recommend that brand. We are not, so we can say that a mid-tier device is enough for your hearing when it is, and that a premium one is justified when it genuinely is.
The same independence applies to service. We repair every major brand, including aids you did not buy from us. If you bought hearing aids from a chain that has since closed its Greencastle-area location, we can still help.
What a twenty-minute drive buys you
Real-ear measurement on every fitting. Without it, a hearing aid is programmed to a manufacturer's model of an average ear canal, which yours is not. With it, we measure what the device is actually delivering against what your audiogram prescribes, and adjust until they match. Do I need an appointment?
Hearing evaluations need an appointment, because the testing requires a quiet room and a reserved block of time. Repairs and cleanings are walk-in, which is worth knowing if you are driving up from Greencastle with an aid that has stopped working.
Is there parking, and is the entrance accessible?
There is street parking directly out front, and the entrance is step-free with no stairs to manage. If you use a walker, cane or wheelchair, you can get from the car to the office without difficulty.

Will my insurance cover hearing aids?
It depends heavily on your plan. Pennsylvania does not require private insurers to cover adult hearing aids, and Original Medicare does not cover them at all, though most Medicare Advantage plans include some allowance. What should I bring to a first appointment?
Your insurance card, a list of current medications, any previous hearing test results, and if you can, a family member or friend. A second person often notices things you have not and is useful when the results are explained.
